Ephesians 5 gives believers a clear and practical picture of what it looks like to walk with God in everyday life. Because of everything God has done, including adopting us into His family, forgiving every sin, and sealing us with His Spirit, we are called to live as new people. That new life takes shape in three ways: imitating God as beloved children, walking in agape love that forgives even when it is undeserved, and living in purity and light. God has already provided everything needed to walk this way, including His Spirit, His Word, and the community of believers around us. The invitation is simply to walk in what has already been given.
