I am a mother of three, grandmother of five, and an imperfect girl who loves Jesus and wants to give Him praise and honor for saving me. At a young age, while attending vacation Bible school, I chose to give my heart to Jesus. However, when I was in third grade, my parents divorced, and my home life became unstable and, oftentimes, entangled in domestic violence.

At 17, I sought refuge in an impetuous marriage that ultimately led to a painful divorce and single parenthood. I was living a life without much discipleship and many hardships. Then, at a very low point in my life, I met my husband of 33 years and found the value of a spiritual leader in a husband and life partner. Together, we devoted our lives to God and rooted our marriage in Him. We chose to be intentional about raising our children in a home where God came first so our children would know Him. We wanted our home to be filled with His presence during times of joy and sorrow, and if there would be occasional discord, His love would be the foundation that we fell upon to bring peace and harmony between us.
