This page is created just for you. Stay up to date on what we are learning this month. Weekly at home discussion questions will be provided to assist in your most important ministry, your family. We are so glad you are here.
This June, your students will learn all about the truth, “I Am Uniquely Designed,” with the help of our theme, Signature.
Everyone wants to know that they are worth something. Students often look to friends, grades, possessions, and more to assure themselves that they stack up against the rest. But, does it work? More often than not, these things we look to for value don’t deliver on their promises. We come up short and are forced to go back to the drawing board to find something new to give us significance.
Our value doesn’t come from looking within to define ourselves. It doesn’t come from trying to find what we think is true for us, or in temporary things that don’t last. God tells us something different altogether. Through His Word, God tells us that He has intentionally designed us, putting His signature on each of our lives! Like an artist signing His own creation, God’s role as Designer and Creator means He gives us purpose and value.
He made us. Every single part of us—from our eye color to our talents to our family tree—has been determined by the Grand Artist. And not only has He made us, but He loves us deeply because we are His.
We are praying that over these next few weeks, your students will know that God uniquely created them. Instead of looking for significance in what the world offers, we are praying that they would anchor their identity in Christ, knowing He is steadfast, always.
Throughout the month, we’ll explore these main ideas:
Over these next few weeks, we will see that God designed us—every part of us. He knows our names and our coming and goings. He cares for us not because of anything that we’ve done, but because He made us and gives us true identity.
