Holy Week

MCC Family,

Thanks for considering a time of fasting and prayer during Holy Week beginning this Palm Sunday, March 24th. Below is the information we sent, about types of fasts, before our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting that we kicked off the new year with in January.

Types of Fasts:
  • Selective Fast - Remove certain elements from your diet like meat, sweets, and bread and consume water, juice, fruits, and vegetables for food.
  • Partial Fast - Abstaining eating food in the morning and afternoon and eating a meal in the evening.
  • Complete Fast - Drink only liquids, typically water and juices.
  • Soul Fast - Stop using social media, watching television, speaking negatively, and avoiding relationships/circumstances that cause you to stumble.
