Devotional
God's favor often requires us to step out of our comfort zone and take faith-filled risks. Like the lepers in 2 Kings who ventured into the enemy camp, our breakthrough might be waiting on the other side of our comfort zone. These aren't reckless risks, but rather Spirit-led steps that demonstrate our trust in God's provision and protection. When we're willing to take these divine risks, we position ourselves to experience God's favor in unprecedented ways. Remember, every great move of God in Scripture required someone to step out in faith first.
Bible Verse
So they rose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians; and when they had come to the outskirts of the Syrian camp, to their surprise no one was there. - 2 Kings 7:5
Reflection Question
What God-prompted risk have you been avoiding out of fear or comfort?
Quote Faith takes risk. It's Amazing to me, as the lepers are the one that took the risk.
Prayer
Dear God, grant me the courage to take divine risks when You call me to step out in faith. Help me trust Your guidance and protection. In Jesus' name, Amen.
