Today’s message focuses on Spy Wednesday, the day Judas secretly agreed to betray Jesus. Judas had walked closely with Jesus, witnessed miracles, and heard truth firsthand—yet his heart slowly drifted. His betrayal did not begin with action, but with compromise.
Spy Wednesday reminds us that proximity to Jesus does not automatically produce faithfulness. Without humility and repentance, even those closest to Him can allow resentment, greed, or disappointment to take root.
This day calls us to honest self-examination. Prayer and fasting reveal hidden loyalties and invite us to renew our devotion. Jesus desires wholehearted followers, not divided hearts.
Lord, search our hearts today. Reveal any divided loyalties and draw us back to wholehearted devotion. Amen.
