Devotional
Every day, we're writing our legacy through our choices and actions. Mary and Martha's devotion to Jesus is still inspiring believers thousands of years later, while Judas's betrayal serves as a sobering warning. The difference wasn't in their abilities or opportunities, but in how they chose to respond to Jesus's love. When we choose to serve, worship, and give extravagantly to Jesus, we create a legacy that impacts not just our own lives, but generations to come. Our acts of devotion to Christ, no matter how small they might seem, carry eternal significance.
Bible Verse
When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. - John 12:1-11
Reflection Question
What kind of spiritual legacy are you currently building, and what changes might you need to make to leave a legacy that honors Christ?
Quote Mary and Martha's service will be remembered for eternity. Judas will be remembered for eternity also. What I want to submit to you this morning is what will your legacy be?
Prayer
Lord, help me to live each day with eternal perspective. Guide me to make choices that will create a legacy of faith, love, and devotion to You. May my life point others to Your grace and glory. Amen.
